The Savvy Caregiver Program
Provides evidence-based educational groups for dementia caregivers. Groups sessions are 2 hours for 6 weeks, either in person or virtually. Free of charge. (Originally developed at the University of Minnesota.)
Family Caregiver Alliance
Provides support, education, and resources for family caregivers and for the people they care for. Formed 40 years ago to create services for those struggling to provide long-term care for a loved one who did not “fit” into traditional health systems.
Rosalynn Carter Institute for Caregivers
Prioritizes family caregivers by promoting caregiver wellness, educational groups, advocacy, and research. (Now part of The Carter Center, under its Mental Health program.)
